Hiddink warns Celts - 26 July 2009 at 10:25
RUSSIA boss Guus Hiddink last night warned Celtic not to underestimate Dynamo Moscow and insists the pressure to qualify for the Champions League is on Tony Mowbray's shoulders.

The Dutch coach has been in charge of the Russian national team for three years and has watched Dynamo improve in that time.

They want to make a real impact in Europe but face the Hoops in the third qualifying round first-leg at Parkhead on Wednesday night.

Hiddink said: "This tie will be a passionate affair and it's evenlymatched. On paper, Celtic are the favourites because of their history in the Champions League - but Dynamo won't be easy. The tie is open - either club could qualify.

"Most people recognise Spartak and CSKA when they think of Russian football. But Dynamo are improving.

"They are strong defensively with experienced players at the back and Celtic's attack will do well to break them down, especially at the Dynamo Stadium in Moscow."
